Guardian Group Blast Off 2023

Aspire. Dare. Deliver. (ADD). This simple but profound theme, coined by insurance titan. Guardian Life Limited, steered the way for its annual corporate Blast Off, the company’s annual staff kick-off and motivational session which sets the tone for the year for both sales and administrative staff.

From the energetic performances of the ASHE group to the “first class” arrival of the company’s Vice-President — Life, Health & Pensions Sales Oneil Clarke, the team received the full motivational package at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston, Friday last.

It was, however, the grand entrance of main guest speaker, Natasha Mayne; that lifted the event to an even higher altitude. Known as a visionary storyteller, wellness coach, motivational speaker, style connoisseur and attorney-at-law, the Mayne, also known as the Vogue Attorney, empowered the team with useful pearls of wisdom.

“We make excuses every day, and we like to stay under a shadow,” Mayne shared. “We need to shake off the spirit of entitlement and embrace the grace of discipline. I wanted to go and make something of myself. My parents gave me a foundation, just like Guardian gave you all, but I had to make sure that I curated a blueprint. “None of your success stories are going to be the same. For me to come up here and tell each and every one of you that I am going to give you the seven principles on how to become successful would be untrue, because everybody’s success story is different. There is no protocol. I am here to tell you today to ADD: Aspire. Dare. Deliver.”

With pens in hands, employees, sales representatives, brand ambassadors and broker partners zoned in to capture the useful nuggets from the seminar.

Sunday Social has highlights.
