MONTEGO BAY, St James — The two remaining spots in the semi-finals of the St James Football Association Sandals Resorts International Major League could be decided on Saturday if Granville United and Cambridge FC win their respective return games.

Both semi-final aspirants are tied on 19 points from 10 games

Third-place Granville are set to take on Montego Bay Boys Club at the UDC field while Cambridge face Lilliput Rovers at Spot Valley High, both games set to start at 3:00 pm.

On Friday Reggae Youths rebounded from back-to-back losses with a vengeance, spanking Heights FC 11-0 in their return game played at the UDC Field to retake the lead in the points tables. They also booked their spot in the semi-finals, joining Flanker FC.

Nicholas Campbell and Nathaniel Wilson both scored hat-tricks while Thomas Scott got a brace for Reggae Youths who had failed in two previous attempts to qualify for the semi-finals.

The win saw Reggae Youths improve to 25 points, two more than Flanker, both from 11 games with one to go.

Campbell scored the first two goals for Reggae Youths, in the 14th and 15th minutes, and completed his treble in the 69th minute. Wilson scored all three goals in the second half, netting in the 65th, 70th and 90th.

Scott, who took over the goalscoring lead with eight goals, scored in the 24th and 30th minutes while Sebastian Robinson, Damel Morrison and Chadwayne Blagrove all got one goal each.
