Chizem collaborates with Latin/reggaeton singer Gringo Man
Singer Chizem recently teamed up with Latin/reggaeton singer Gringo Man to record the single, ‘Rama Jama’.
“I feel honoured to be featured on this track with Gringo Man. This is a big thing for me, because Gringo Man is considered one of the biggest names in the early days of the reggaeton genre. I still can’t believe that I recorded a song with him,” Chizem disclosed.
Chizem believes that the song has the potential to become an international hit.
“This song has the potential to be very big. It’s lyrically on point and it was recorded on a hypnotic up-tempo beat that makes you want to get up and dance. Not to mention the fact that it’s a multilingual song. I did my parts in English, and Gringo Man did his parts in Spanish. I strongly believe that it’s going to do well,” said Chizem.
Chizem shared that the video for Rama Jama will be filmed in Florida next month.
“We’re working with a very professional video production team for this project because we want to make a video that will capture the true essence of the song. Gringo Man and I believe in this song and we’re doing everything possible to make it a hit.”
Produced by popular reggaeton producer Meikan, Rama Jama was released on December 20.
Chizem (given name) Shanet Chisholm made her recording debut in 2008 with the release of an EP titled ‘Have It Locked’ on the Cell Block label.
