Enter: The Butter Shop Body body butters, decadent whipped hydrators stored in tubs of sweet-scented goodness! The formula — developed by The Butter Shop founder Kadeja Simon — is made with shea butter and is creamy, lightweight and non-greasy. Simon says her background in pastry making inspired the scents which include the top-selling cookie dough, as well peach cobbler, strawberry milkshake, and watermelon.
“I started The Butter Shop in January 2021. COVID-19 was on the rise and with curfews in place and shorter work hours I had a lot of time on my hands. The first idea that came to mind was to make soaps, but because of my pastry background I wanted to do something more fun and creative and with the rising demand for more natural skincare products I went with making body butters. My first-ever product to be released was the Cookie Dough Body Butter, and to this day it remains one of my best sellers,” shared Simon.
As demand for her body butters grows, Simon says she has expanded her offerings, and now makes foaming sugar scrubs and soaps.
