Massy Celebrates 100 Years
February 1, 2023 marked Massy Group’s 100th anniversary, commemorating the start of year-long celebrations. The company’s Carifta Avenue HQ was transformed into party central as management fêted the Massy family.
Powerhouse gospel vocalist Rhoda Isabella kicked off the proceedings with a spirited performance. There was laughter, excitement, and tears of joy as employees charted their journey.
Staffers left the celebration as part-owners of the company after being gifted 200 shares valued at US$100 each. A release from the company said: “It is an absolute privilege to have been serving the people of the region for 100 years. There is no #Massy without our Massy Family, and for that we thank you!”
What’s a celebration without a cake-cutting moment? Massy Distribution Vice-President and CEO Janine Chen (right) shared duties with the company’s two longest-serving team members Judith Brown Foster, senior health safety security environment and administrative coordinator, and Patrick Aldred, health safety security environment & special situations manager..
Pastry chef Trevanne Donegal added a sweet touch to the celebration with a dark chocolate and vanilla cake topped with dulce de leche buttercream.
