Businessman killed at exotic night club in Negril
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A businessman was shot dead at an exotic night club in Negril, Westmoreland on Wednesday morning.
Dead is 40-year-old O’Neal Smith, otherwise called ‘San’ of Good Hope District in the parish.
Reports from the police are that Smith was purchasing food at a cook shop at the Scrub-A-Dub night club shortly after 4 am when he was confronted by gunmen, who opened fire hitting him.
The police were summoned, and on their arrival, Smith was seen lying face down with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his head and upper body.
He was assisted to the Savanna-La-Mar Public General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing.
