Frazsiers Whip, Olympic Gardens score JWPL wins
Shaniel Buckley scored an incredible 11 goals as Zone A leaders Frazsiers Whip FC ran roughshod over Rangers FC 15-0 in the Jamaica Football Federation Women’s Premier League return game at the Annotto Bay Oval on Saturday.
The goals took her tally to 35 and back in the golden boot race.
Fraziers Whip extended their perfect record to 11 wins and stayed 15 points ahead of second-placed Olympic Gardens who beat Springers FC 4-0 at Wespow Park in St James.
Natoya Atkinson scored two goals for Frazsiers Whip, while Destiny Powell and Latoya Duhaney scored one each.
At Wespow Park, Carlletia Savizon scored two goals to lead Olympic Gardens to a comfortable win. Tatyana Polack and an own goal added to the tally.
In Zone B, Cavalier beat Rangers FC 4-0 as Rena Gordon scored two goals to take her tally to 26. Jynnell Graham and an own goal were included in that tally.
The win carried Cavalier SC to 30 points, while Real Montego Bay are expected to be awarded points after Royale Lakes turned up late for their game at Wespow Park.
