Keyan Murdock appointed as assistant coach for Sunshine Girls
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Netball Jamaica (NJ) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Keyan Murdock as assistant coach for the senior Sunshine Girls.
NJ President Tricia Robinson had indicated that the organisation was close to selecting a deputy to Sunshine Girls’ head coach Connie Francis, adding that those interviewed for the post are highly qualified and will make a positive impact on the team.

As such, Murdock will join the senior national team with over 20 years of experience as a netball coach and certification in advanced coaching Level 4, Netball Australia and Jamaica Award, Level 1.
Murdock will work alongside Francis as they prepare the Sunshine Girls for the upcoming Netball World Cup Tournament scheduled to be held from July 28 to August 6, 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Jamaica, who are ranked fourth in the world, have been without an assistant coach since the appointment of Francis at the end of 2019.
