KINGSTON, Jamaica – Portmore United surprised Arnett Gardens 3-2 in one of the two all Jamaica Premier League match-ups in the Lynk Cup KO second round game played at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Mt Pleasant FA needed extra -time to beat Vere United in the other all Premier League match, while Harbour View and Dunbeholden also made progress to the quarterfinals.

The second round ends on Thursday with four more games- Humble Lion vs Chapleton; Cavalier vs Montego Bay United, Faulkland vs Tivoli and Molynes vs Waterhouse.

On Wednesday, Shavaughn Walsh scored a double including a 90th minute penalty as Portmore United upset Arnett Gardens.

Alex Marshall also scored for Portmore United.

In the other all Premier League game, Atapharoy Bygrave scored in the 118th minute for Mt Pleasant to get by Vere United at Effortville Community Centre.

Rohan Brown scored twice for Dunbeholden as they beat Treasure Beach FC 4-1 in extra- time after they ended regulation tied at 1-1.

Peter McGregor scored in the third minute for Dunbeholden but Kadeem Stone equalised six minutes into time added on.

In extra- time, Brown restored Dunbeholden’s lead in the 110th minute, Stephen Barnett added another in the 112th minute before Brown scored his second and his team’s fourth in the 115th minute.

Harbour View beat Tier II team Falmouth United 4-0.
