The fete countdown to Carnival Sunday continued with Xodus Tailgate at the National Stadium on Thursday, April 13.

The interesting event concept that asked patrons to Team up! Park up! And Jamrock! And, that’s exactly what they got — a full night of BBQ, soca, dancehall, and vibes.

The party people were out in their numbers coming in cars, trucks, pickups, buses, even boats to experience a night of pure soca bliss.

The event featured an exhilarating performance by Voice, the artiste, whose promise to “shake di place” was kept. He sang a wide range of his songs, including crowd-favourite Long Live Soca, and the 2022 Carnival classic Out and bad.

The vibes were elevated all night long with selectors such as, Brush1 The Road Marshal, Franco, Travis World, Nocturnal, Selecta Renegade, DJ Charlotte, DJ Quest, Major Penny, Selector Kerry and Trevlyn.

The sweet soca energy was felt throughout the entire event — from start to finish.

Xodus Tailgate was an epic prelude to the main event this Sunday.
