10 things to do on the road with Campari for Carnival

Let’s face it! You will not go revelling through the streets of Kingston without your friends chipping on the road with you.

Brand Campari has some tips to make the best of the road march experience.

1) Take photos before, during, and after the road march! Everyone takes photos before; less photos are taken during, and almost nobody takes photos at the end of the day. Document your journey and capture every step of the way.

2) Reel in it: On Carnival Day, you look your best. Ladies: body, skin, hair, nails are all on point. Don’t miss the chance to create some fun reels before you hit the road. Man dem! Ensure the fit is as it should be, line-up sharp and yuh ready to fete!

3) Stay together: If your chipping partner needs a bathroom break, so do you. Soca might be sweet, but make sure to always keep your feting partner in your sights during the hard fete.

4) How low? The time has come to determine it once and for all – how low can you go? Can your waistline keep up? Make sure you get it on camera!

5) Beware of the Carnival ex: Be on the lookout! Everybody’s out!

6) Hydrate to be great! Be it Campari & Ting or a Campari & White Cran, you need to make sure that you drink water between your Campari cocktails. Remember, you must be 18 years or older to drink. Drink Responsibly.

7) Plan yuh ting! If you must be separated for any reason, have a plan where to reconnect. That way everyone’s feeling secure and stress-free on Carnival Day!

8) Full yuh belly! The time for dieting has passed! Make sure that you eat a hearty breakfast and do not skip lunch on Carnival Day. Ensure that during lunch you rest up and refuel. Remember, we come to drink and party. Eat first!

9) Jump on the truck! We on the road like whoa-oh-oh, but remember we have a truck on di road too. If you and your parries need a break, but don’t want to stop fetin’, jump on a Campari truck and let them do the work for a while.

10) Campari Boulevard is the place to be! To nice things up, Knutsford Boulevard will be transformed into Campari Boulevard. Tell your friends who aren’t jumping this year they can still be part of the Campari Carnival experience in a big way. Viewing decks, photo ops, live music from Jamaica’s best DJs, business food and drinks will make them feel like they’re feting with the revellers. Best of all, see Campari’s Brand Ambassador Aidonia perform, live! Oh, did we mention it’s free?

Bonus tip: No Drama: We all have drama sometimes, but the road is no place for fireworks. Keep it drama-free for everyone’s sake this Carnival! You can work it all out on Monday.
