Pedestrian hit by coaster bus on Molynes Road in serious condition
An unidentified male pedestrian was seriously injured in an accident along Molynes Road, St Andrew on Saturday afternoon.
Reports are that about 1:45 pm, the pedestrian was crossing the road when he was hit by a Toyota Coaster bus.
According to an alleged eyewitness, another vehicle had stopped to allow the man to cross the road when the bus overtook the stopped vehicle and hit the pedestrian.
He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
The Half-Way Tree police have taken the driver of the bus into custody pending further investigation.
