Gas prices down $1.75, $1.73 diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, May 11, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane gasoline decreased by $1.73 and will be sold for $167.86 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $164.33 per litre after a decrease of $1.75.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $169.62 per litre after a decrease of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $180.47 per litre down by $4.50.
Kerosene also decreased by $4.50 and will be sold for $180.67 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.34 per litre down by $3.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.78 per litre after an increase of $2.90.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
