Trelawny man charged with house breaking

TRELAWNY, Jamaica – One man was arrested and charged with house breaking with intent to commit a felony following an incident in his community on Wednesday, May 17.

He is 39-year-old Shawn Comrie of Race Course, Falmouth, Trelawny.

Reports are that about 3:53 am, the complainant heard a sound in her house. Upon searching, she saw Comrie standing at her bathroom door. He reportedly gained entry through her kitchen window that was locked. The matter was reported to the police and an investigation was launched.

Comrie was handed over to lawmen by his family members later that day where he was subsequently charged. He is scheduled to appear in the Duncan’s Parish Court on Wednesday, May 21.
