Teejay teams up with producer Ajal on ‘Faith’
The subject of loyalty rings loud on the song Faith by dancehall artiste Teejay, a collaboration with US-based producer Ajal.
Faith was released on May 19 via Ajal Music Group and, according to the producer, working with the Montego Bay-based deejay was a gratifying experience.
“Working with Teejay was a great experience. He works hard at his craft, he does his thing really fast, and he is professional at the same time,” said Ajal.
He added, “The song Faith talks about people being around you and are not real friends. This is something that everyone can relate to.”
Ajal recently collaborated with iconic singer Mykal Rose on the song Marijuana, which was released on the eve of the 4/20 marijuana celebrations. The producer is also working with a number of acts and is gearing up to release several songs by Chronic Law, Jahshii, Intence, Laa Lee, Anthony B, I-Wayne, Ce’Cile, Ikaya and Rose among others.
Teejay whose real name is Timoy Jones, came to prominence in 2018. Among his hits are Owna Lane, Up Top Boss, Henne and Weed, From Rags to Richies and People.
