Johno-J says God Never Change
Recording artiste Johno-J is putting the spotlight on his March-released album God Never Change.
Produced by DWC Production, the album features collaborations with fellow artistes Jabez and D’Furnace.
“This album boasts various flavours. It’s for people to hold a vibe and dance,” the artiste told the Jamaica Observer.
With 13 tracks in all, the featured sounds include mento gospel, reggae tracks, and slow songs, with titles such as Mi Bless From Mi Born, Over and Over Again, Jesus Is The Name, and God Never Plant Sin.
“My hope for this album is that it will take off and become a huge hit. The feedback so far has been very good so I’m confident that it will reach the ears of listeners all over the world,” he said.
Starting out as a secular artiste under the stage Knuckle Man, Johno-J has been on the musical scene since the 1980s. With past releases such as Angelina, Give True Love A Try, and Treat Your Woman Good, the artiste subsequently made his transition to Gospel music, composing lyrics based on true experiences and positive themes.
“The music I put out is warm, loving, and energetic. I want people to feel good vibes when they’re listening to one of my songs,” he stated.
The recording artiste is also known across Jamaica for singing at nine nights and remains in demand.
“It is just something that happened by chance, but I can honestly say that it is something that I love to do because it brings so much joy to people,” Johno-J added.
