Advantage General Insurance Company (AGIC) will continue its promotion of safe driving habits among Jamaicans by teaming up with Grennell’s Driving School to host the Road Safety Awareness Campaign Workshop and Expo. The event is scheduled to be held during Road Safety Awareness Month on Wednesday, June 28 at Spanish Court Hotel.

The initiative follows the successful Crash Free 2023 – a series of defensive driving workshops held in January and April by Grennell’s in partnership with AGIC.

Grennell’s Driving School Managing Director Alphonso Grennell expects the upcoming expo to also be a success.

“We had a very good turnout at the previous workshops and the participants were blown away by the information and training they were able to receive. These workshops were created because there is a need to reduce the number of road accidents in Jamaica. Research has shown that drivers account for 90 per cent of road crashes and if we can teach more drivers defensive driving, our roads will be safer,” shared Grennell.
