Dancehall artiste Byron Messia continues his assault on the Billboard charts this week.

His hit single Talibans has registered on four of the charts, while his album No Love is also making moves on the Reggae Albums chart.

Talibans, produced by Ztekk Records, rises from #45 to #39 in its fourth week on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. Over on Rap Airplay, it steps up from #24 to #19 in its second week.

On Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Talibans debuts at #37, while entering Rhythmic Top 40 Airplay at #35.

No Love slips down to #9 on the albums chart.

Over in the United Kingdom, Talibans rises from #37 to #31 in its seventh week on the Official UK Singles chart. It fares better on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart, darting from #16 to #13.

Another Jamaican artiste who is making moves on a Billboard R&B chart is reggae act Anthony B. His collaboration Wind Me Up with American inspirational singer Dante Bowe rises from #20 to #18 on Adult R&B Airplay.

Moving now to the streaming and sales driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Bob Marley and the Wailers reign for the 183rd non-consecutive week with Legend.

After spending 224 non-consecutive weeks on the chart, Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy is firm at #2, while Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection is #3 in its 154th non-consecutive week on the tally.

Wisdom, World on Fire and Set in Stone by Stick Figure are #4, #5, and #6, while Sean Paul’s multi-platinum Grammy winning 2002 set Dutty Rock re-enters the chart at #7,

Greatest Hits by UB40 dips to #8, while, as previously mentioned, Byron Messia’s No Love slides down to #9.

Burial Ground by Stick Figure tops out at #10.

Over to sales-driven Luminate Current Reggae Albums chart, which is only available by subscription, dancehall artiste I-Octane debuts at #3 with his latest effort Dancehall Gift — a 10-song project which was released July 7 and sold 139 in pure album sales in its first week.

Essential Artist Collection: Marcia Griffiths, a two-disc compilation of hits and popular album cuts by Marcia Griffiths which was released last month by Trojan Records, spends its 6th week on the chart, having debuted at #4. It rises from #12 to #9 on the latest chart, selling an additional 35 copies over the past week. To date, it has sold 282 copies in pure album sales.

Over to the New York Reggae chart, Nubian Woman by Sister Carol spends a third week at #1.

In These Times by Anthony B moves from #14 to #12, while I’ll be Waiting by veteran singer Freddie McGregor enters at #29.

Afrobeat Medley by The Greaves Brothers takes over the #1 spot on the South Florida Reggae chart, while I’m Doing Better by Marion Hall, formerly Lady Saw, steps up from #4 to #2.

Lock Down by Winchester T is the chart’s sole new entry at #24.

In Canada, the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart is reporting Once More by Golden Chyld as the #1 song.

Dem Trick Yuh by Bigga Boss is #2, while What Ah Joy by The Memberz and JUNO Award winning and Festival Song entrant Exco Levi, moves into the #3 spot.

RIP Fake Friends by Jamaican-born, Canada-based reggae singer Josemar is #9, while My Turn by Tony Anthony is #10.

Of note, Drift by Teejay is yet to chart on any Billboard list, while Valiant’s mixtape 4:14 has not registered on the Billboard Reggae Albums nor any of Luminate’s sales-driven album charts.
