The $1.3-million handover represents proceeds from the Father’s Day staging of the Everyone’s A Winner/The Best Dressed Chicken 3K and 5K races. The funds are to go towards a stem cell transplant at a cost of US$87,000 for 12-yearold Raje. He is currently in hospital overseas undergoing treatment that has resulted in the decrease of his cancer cell levels, with no trace of cancer cells in the liver and lungs. Raje was diagnosed in June 2019 with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. While in hospital in Jamaica Raje sat the PEP exam and passed to attend St Catherine High School.
