The young lady whose Afro, smile and wit won hearts worldwide during the Miss Universe 2017 pageant is now a successful international fashion model with billboards in Time Square and cover features in top fashion glossies. Davina Bennett admits that the transition from pageant queen to high-fashion model was no easy strut. And that’s why her most recent trip to The Rock included a fabulous celebratory fête with her biggest supporters at Sora Japanese Cuisine & Urban Lounge.

Held last Thursday, the plush shades of brown-themed event saw Bennett’s friends and family doting on her over dinner and drinks. “What makes tonight special is the fact that I am gathered with the people that I love — friends, family and people that have supported me throughout the years, and tonight is just a night to celebrate my accomplishments and accolades,” said Bennett.

Cheers to that!
