#GoldenGlory: Team Jamaica announces mixed-relay quartet
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Team Jamaica has announced the quartet for the mixed 4x400m relay that will kickstart the nation’s campaign on the track at the 2023 Budapest World Athletics Championships on Saturday.
The quartet includes Demish Gaye, Natoya Goule, Malik James King and Stacey-Ann Williams.
They are set to grace the track in heat two of the event at 4:16 am Jamaica time.
Sixty-five athletes are in Budapest representing the country at the 19th edition of the championships.
Jamaica won 10 medals (2 golds, 7 silvers, 1 bronze) at the last year’s edition of the World Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
