Recharged Lifestyle caters to holistic living via online hub

IT was out of a need to join the health and wellness revolution entrepreneur Shavanie Dillon-McDonald became inspired to set up her online company, Recharged Lifestyle, as a one-stop shop for natural health-care products.

Established two years ago in the midst of the novel coronavirus pandemic, the company which specialises in the sale of mainly organic products caters to persons suffering from a number of lifestyle diseases as well as sports players, vegans, the morbidly obese, and those generally on the health conscious spectrum.

“Recharged Lifestyle is an advocate for holistic healthy living. We have heard the cries of many who find it costly and difficult to be healthy, therefore we have provided an online hub to make the process easy and affordable for persons to access organic healthy products as well as useful information in the form of practical health tips. This, as through our wellness hub persons can learn how to reduce the risk of contracting some of the most popular noncommunicable diseases [NCDs] such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart conditions,” Dillon-McDonald said.

“People love and trust the brands we sell because we not only stay true to quality but also consistently promote healthy, cruelty-free products. Some of the products offered on our platform include natural juices, water, organic teas, honey, protein bars and shakes, supplements, nuts, grains, activated charcoal powder, essential oils, organic toothpaste, turmeric soap, and aluminum-free deodorants,” she further stated, highlighting the organic hair growth oil and activated charcoal toothpaste as two of the most sought after products.

“What we offer through this business is a one-stop holistic health store made up of a unique line of naturally safe products which offer customers the opportunity to conveniently shop online, bringing health care closer to their fingertips. There are many health food stores around that mainly sell nuts and grains, therefore our competitive advantage is that we not only cater to the dietary needs of individuals but also to those having to do with their hair and skin care, among other general needs,” Dillion-McDonald said.

The company, through the blogs and motivational books found on its website, also helps individuals to improve their overall well-being, catering to not just the physical but also their mental and spiritual goals.

With its website already attracting traffic of near a million, the e-commerce company allows customers to pick up products from a location in Liguanea. Customers also have the option to utilse the delivery service if they require less hassle and more convenience.

Serving her customers through a small team of approximately five persons, the CEO said the outlook is to further expand her business in the short to medium term, growing not only its clientele but also the current complement of support staff.

“We want to open a physical space soon as we look to ramp up our education and training arm to get more people sensitised about making better lifestyle choices, also helping them to become better conscious about the products they consume or even those they use on their bodies,” Dillion-McDonald said.

“In short order we will also be coming with a brand new line of all-natural personal care products that have tremendous benefits for the hair and skin. The prices will be affordable so this is something the market can look out for as we look forward to helping more persons to choose healthier alternatives,” she stated.

Dillon-McDonald and members of the Recharged Lifestyle team share in a photo at a recent exhibition event.
