With less than 72 hours left for her 7th annual We Inspire Women Brunch, founder and CEO Cortia Bingham-McKenzie hosted her extraordinary line-up of speakers in a purple-themed dinner at Jamaica Pegasus’s Norman Manley Suite.
The Thursday evening event began how all of Bingham-McKenzie’s events do — with a prayer. “We thank you for your grace, we thank you for your mercy, we thank you, God, that you have taken us from all across the world to be here tonight,” said Bingham-McKenzie.
The women indulged in fare from the hotel’s Executive Chef Mark Cole in-between convo with affable tablemates. A highlight of the intimate affair was Saxgurl Barbara Witter’s rendition of faves like Tina Turner’s 1989 hit The Best.
