Demarco talks about betrayal on ‘So Much Hate’
KINGSTON, Jamaica- Dancehall artiste Demarco vents about betrayal on his latest release titled ‘So Much Hate,’ produced by Natural Bond Entertainment, and released on August 25.
“Well, personal life experiences were what inspired the song. Having people around that I thought were friends, when they were enemies, standing close to me. Hate and badmind is a hell of a thing. But I know how to fight it, I use time. Time reveals all things,” said Demarco.
He added, “So much hate, people want to be you and they can’t sing a note. Not an artiste, but because the life weh yuh live, badmind kick een.”
‘So Much Hate’ is featured on the Redemption rhythm project. According to Demarco, the feedback to the song has been overwhelming and more than he expected.
“The response has been phenomenal in the streets. Most people can relate to it, because the song a talk the truth. If you’re an artiste, sing about reality stuff and yuh caan lose,” Demarco disclosed.
He spoke about working with Natural Bond Entertainment on the project.
“Natural Bond knows music, and he knows how to pick the bad rhythm dem. Dem know when dem hear a hit song. It’s very easy to work with dem. They put promotion into dem project. I love working with Natural Bond Entertainment,” said Demarco.
