The None Such Sprint Trophy, a Graded Stakes/Open Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward, takes centre stage on tomorrow’s nine-race programme.

Six runners have declared for the six-furlong (1,200m) race which will feature the return of American-bred Runaway Algo, one of the country’s top-rated horses, taking on She’s My Destiny, one of the country’s top sprinters.

Below, the Jamaica Observer‘s The Supreme Racing Guide takes a closer look at each runner and their chances of winning the major share of the $1.75-million purse.

1. SHE’S MY DESTINY (5 ch m by Bern Identity — Woman Is Boss) — She comes into this race on the heels of two excellent victories. She’s My Destiny won over 5 1/2 furlongs (1,100m) in 1:062 on June 24 and over the 5-furlong (1,000m) straight course in 1:00.2 on August 12. The Jason DaCosta trainee has four wins at this distance from eight starts, making her a serious contender here. The conditions of this race are ideal for She’s My Destiny, who might make it three wins in a row.

2. KING ARTHUR: (6 b g by Natural Selection — Geisha’s Gift) — Hard-knocking horse who always give of his best here. However, facing the likes of stablemate She’s My Destiny and the talent Runaway Algo, King Arthur‘s only hope is for a minor placing.

3. LURE OF LUCY (USA): (5 b m by Uncle Lino — Ring of Faith) — Capable foreigner who should enjoy this galloping course. Getting by the top two here is going to prove a difficult task for Lure of Lucy.

4. RUNAWAY ALGO (USA): (4 ch c by Algorithms — Missunify) — Runaway Algo is without a doubt the horse to beat today, and based on recent form, a difficult one to beat as well. Runaway Algo has raced seven times this season, winning five races, the last three of which were consecutive. He has won twice over 7 furlongs (1,400m) and once over one mile. Though he may not like being pushed to sprint here, Runaway Algo is more than capable of putting these away comfortably. Look for something exceptional from the Dale Murphy trainee here, despite holding a high weight of 57.0kgs (126 lb) and offering weight all around.

5. GOD OF LOVE: (7 b g by Adore The Gold — Shanda D) — Good sort but is going to find the favourite too hot to handle here.

6. GENERATIONAL: (6 ch g by Fearless Vision — Electrifying) — Has no realistic chance of winning.
