Gas prices up $2.68, $2.57, Diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the gasoline price effective Thursday, September 21, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
The latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam showed that 90-octane is up by $2.68 and will be sold for $198.25 per litre, while a litre of 87-octane will go up by $2.57 to sell for $193.64.
Automotive diesel oil is up by $4.50 per litre and will be sold for $192.84, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will sell for $200.39 per litre following an increase of $4.30.
Kerosene increased in price by $3.06 to sell for $196.73 per litre.
Additionally, Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $69.62, while butane will move up by $0.25 to sell for $76.59 per litre
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
