The Business Social this week highlights the Association of Consultant Physicians of Jamaica switching of its usual banquet and awards ceremony for an evening of fashion, art and music as the organisation celebrated ‘Melodies and Masterpieces’ to ring in the 21st anniversary of its annual symposium. Attendees were treated to a fashion show, showcasing the designs of local designers, live music by a number of physicians and an auction of art pieces from local artists. Held at the Jamaica Pegasus’ Grand Ballroom, the evening’s proceedings was well attended by doctors and physicians, in an effort to raise funds for the UWI Mona Medical Sciences Computer Lab.
