Manning’s School are through to the second round of the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association/Wata daCosta Cup football competition after beating Knockabout Technical 3-0 in their Zone D return game played in Savanna-la-Mar on Wednesday.
The Everton Tomlinson-coached Manning’s, back-to-back semi-finalists from the two previous campaigns, won their fifth game of the season to improve to 16 points. They reclaimed sole leadership of Zone D after going into the game trailing Petersfield High on goal difference. Manning’s only need a point from their final game against Grange Hill to win the zone.
