DEFENDING Champions Lannaman’s Prep and Hillel Academy will look to each get their third victory in as many games on Monday in Zone 1 of the JISA Alberga Cup.

Lannaman’s, who will play Morris Knibb at Hughenden at 2:30 pm, have already stated their intent to retian the crown after a dominant 4-0 win over St Andrew’s Prep last Wednesday, before following it up with a 1-0 win over Ardenne on Saturday.

Hillel have also registered back-to-back wins with a 2-1 victory over Morris Knibb and a 2-1 win over St Andrew Prep. They will hope for a third-straight win when they host St John the Baptist at 2:30 pm.

Other matches in Zone 1 will see Ardenne taking on Mavisville at 1:00 pm at Liberty, and Bright Beginnings playing St Andrew at Hillel, also at 1:00 pm..

Over in Zone 2, many-time champions Mona High will play Gordon’s Memorial at 1:00 pm at AISK. Mona are coming off a 13-0 win over Praise Tab Academy last Wednesday. Our Lady of the Angels Prep will play Portmore Missionary, Avondale Prep play Tralfalgar, and AISK oppose Praise Tab.

In Zone 3, Vaz Prep visit Liberty Academy, Emmanuel Academy host St Theresa, Alvernia Prep take on PGA Prep, and Dunrobin tackle Obistan Prep.

Zone 4 Action sees Wolmer’s hosting Stella Marris, Sts Peter and Paul entertaining New Hope Prep, and St Hugh’s Prep taking on St Catherine Prep.

And in Zone 5, Belair Prep host West Indies Prep, Glenmuir visit South Starz Academy, and Monsignor C Bryan entertain El Instituto.

The top two from each zone, along with the two best third-placed teams overall, will advance to the quarter-finals.
