Gospel artiste Johnmark Wiggan to launch debut album tomorrow
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Award-winning Gospel artiste Johnmark Wiggan is set to launch his debut album on Saturday, October 28 at the Swallowfield Chapel in Kingston.
The album, titled VALIDATION comes hot on the heels of his big wins at the recent staging of the Sterling Gospel Awards. Having walked away with both Male Artiste of the Year and Breakout Sensation of the Year, the singer says he’s looking forward to dropping the 12-track compilation which he says was produced with “the vision of healing a hurting people.”
“The lyrics (of the tracks) examine themes of self-acceptance, purposeful living, hope and success. The music utilises popular sounds from genres such as Reggae, Dancehall and Soca, as well as contemporary moods to convey soul stirring messages,” the entertainer revealed in a press release on Friday. The album was officially released on Friday, October 27.
The album launch will see Wiggan performing some of the new music and will feature a host of special guests including the likes of Rondell Positive, Rhoda Isabella, Prince Saj, Audia Spencer-Brown and others.
