Increased digital adoption driving service delivery at VM Wealth Management

VM Wealth Management Limited continues to strengthen its commitment to service excellence through increased digital adoption. The entity’s online client portal, which has been steadily growing in users, affords clients convenient access to their portfolio information and critical market updates to empower them to make informed investment decisions.

The platform, which was launched in January 2021, is currently being used by just under 40 per cent of VM Wealth Management’s retail clients, and CEO of VM Wealth Management and VM Investments Limited Rezworth Burchenson advised that near-future updates are being planned to cater to the growing needs of clients.

“Across the VM Group we have developed and are executing on a robust digital transformation strategy aimed at leveraging the power of technology to improve service delivery to our clients. We are encouraged by the uptake since the launch of the VM Wealth Client Portal, and even as we encourage more persons to use the platform so they can have easier and more convenient access to their information, we are doing our research and making plans to roll out additional features to help keep our clients better informed and supported, especially in a fast-paced economic climate that can be uncertain.”

Currently, VM Wealth clients can use the portal to select investment preferences, access account and portfolio information, view and download statements and transaction history, review market updates and performance reports, contact an investment advisor, request status updates, access daily exchange rates, among other features. Information is presented in sleek dashboards which allows them to easily understand, make necessary comparisons, and assess their next moves.

The updates which are being earmarked for the portal include enhancements in the look and feel, which will facilitate better user experiences while navigating the platform, additional request features, enabling client alerts for transactions, enhanced dashboard features, goal tracking, and others. Clients will begin to interact with these new features before the end of 2023.

The upcoming upgrades to the VM Wealth Client Portal follow enhancements to other convenience channels, specifically the VM Wealth IPO Edge portal. The platform was initially launched to facilitate a seamless application process for initial public offerings (IPO) and additional public offerings (APO) for clients; however, it has now been enabled to accommodate other investment instruments. The platform was used to successfully execute the VM Financial Group Preference Share Offer earlier this year, for which VM Wealth Management was the lead broker.

Burchenson shared: “The VM team is committed to a culture of constant learning, listening to the needs of our clients, doing the necessary research, and making the required adjustments to ensure that we can effectively deliver on our mandate of transformation in all areas.”
