Hydel, Glenmuir through to Champions Cup semis
MANCHESTER, Jamaica— Hydel High and Glenmuir High are into the semi-finals of the ISSA Champions Cup KO for the first time after contrasting wins in Tuesday’s rescheduled quarter-finals.
Omario Henry scored a double to lead Hydel High to a 4-2 win over Garvey Maceo High at Manchester High while Glenmuir High edged Mona High 1-0 at the St Elizabeth Sports Complex in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth.
Keyannie Jackson and Kialand Smith also scored for Hydel High as Cleo Clarke got both goals for Garvey Maceo High.
Meanwhile, in St Elizabeth, a late goal from Kyle Gordon was the difference for Glenmuir High as they made progress from a close game.
Glenmuir High will face two-time winners Kingston College, who came from behind to beat Dinthill Technical 3-2.

Hydel High will face Clarendon College, who outscored St Georges College 3-1.
