Molynes United part ways with coach Alex Thomas

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Head coach Alex Thomas and Molynes United have parted ways, the Observer Online has been reliably informed.

Thomas, a former national player, took over the coaching job at Molynes United in July 2022 after spending two years at the helm at Arnett Gardens FC.

Last year was a revelation for Molynes United, as under Thomas’ guidance the team was playing competitively. But this year, things have seemingly not “clicked.” The team is currently at the bottom of the 14-team league with two points from seven games of which they have lost five times.

Last Sunday they lost 1-2 to Dunbeholden in which their former player Nicholas Nelson netted twice against them.
