The buzz for weeks centred on the pending nuptials of Duane Smith, councillor for the Chancery Hall Division (St Andrew North Western) in the Kingston & St Andrew Municipal Corporation to long-time belle, registered nurse Kimika Peterkin. By Saturday, December 9, the shift felt ahead of Sunday’s earthquake was the scores upon scores of nattily dressed guests convening inside the Holy Trinity Cathedral to witness the exchange of vows followed by one of the season’s biggest raves at the well-appointed home of the bridegroom’s parents Derrick and Karleen Smith.
Page 2 shares highlights of the reception and invites you to turn to pages 28-29 of Tuesday Style Vows.
