Reggae Boy Lowe hosts Christmas treat in hometown Rockfort

KINGSTON, Jamaica- Reggae Boy Damion Lowe returned to his hometown of Rockfort in east Kingston on December 29 to treat over 200 children during the holiday season.

The children received gifts and enjoyed the amusement rides at the Rockfort football field.

Lowe, who is also the team’s vice-captain, was joined by his father and Reggae Boyz legend, Onandi Lowe.

There was also a football competition featuring local teams to showcase young talents within the community.

“I’ve been here for many years growing up in the community, and I’ve seen plenty of people do this here, and now I have the resources and the hands to do it, so this is year three. It’s a good initiative for east Kingston, and I want to thank Marc Effron and Legacy Healing Centre for making it possible this year,” said Lowe.
