Florida-based promoter, Faithlyn ‘Born Pretty’ Gayle believes that plus-sized women deserve to have fun in their own space minus stares and glares, and is gearing up to host her annual Born Pretty All White birthday bash in Fort Lauderdale in Florida on January 12.

The plus-sized, body positive party promoter says she isn’t afraid to celebrate her body and wanted to create a space women full-figured women could do that as well.

“Body positivity” has been a buzz word for a while now. But I truly celebrate my body and my flaws because my confidence is off the chain and my joy for life is contagious. That’s why this year I decided to go all out and do a photo shoot on a plane, the full 100 because my party next week is going to be epic,” she said.

‘Born pretty’ is known for promoting and hosting events with a dazzling array of dancehall artistes and has already hosted shows featuring the likes of Dexta Daps, Dovey Magnum, Jada Kingdom, Stylysh, Ikaya, Star, World Dawg and Pappi V.

Gayle, who has been wearing the hat of promoter for some 12 years, is also a successful entrepreneur operating the Born Pretty Boutique Plus Size. She said most of her undertakings are geared at making women “love themselves and be all they can be.”

“Why my parties are so popular is that I have created a safe space, especially with my pool parties, for all women to have the confidence and attitude to show up at a pool and have fun without the need to cover-up or make self-deprecating comments about how they looked or felt in a bathing suit. I am a plus-sized diva and full figured ladies need to know they are born pretty,” she said.
