Gas prices up $0.25, diesel up $0.78
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 25, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25 90-octane will be sold for $172.25 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $166.14.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $173.21 per litre after an increase of $0.78 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $179.73 per litre up by $0.25.
Kerosene decreased by $1.31 and will be sold for $180.06 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.82 per litre up by $2.30 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $85.14 per litre after an increase of $2.69.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
