WATCH: Teejay proposes to longtime girlfriend Tionna

Dancehall artiste Teejay is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Tionna Porter.

On Sunday, the Drift deejay took to social media to share a video of his proposal at a restaurant in Mexico.
He captioned the video, “And yes is the answer”.

Thousands of people have reacted to the announcement with congratulatory messages to the couple, including Afrobeats star Davido, Solid Agency boss Sharon Burke and dancehall entertainer Aidonia.

The couple and a few of their friends are reportedly in Mexico to celebrate Tionna’s birthday.

Teejay is still riding high off the success of Drift, arguably the biggest dancehall song of 2023, and recently released his debut EP I Am Chippy.
