MAHOE Gaming Enterprises Limited (MGEL) is continuing its attempt to reshape the landscape of Jamaica’s video lottery terminals (VLTs) with its innovative product line, ‘Izizzi Millions’.

Building upon significant growth in the VLT business over the past two years, the company has announced a strategic expansion fuelled by a US$10-million investment, which will also contribute to the enhancement of its lottery products and offerings for retailers alike.

“This strategic expansion reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving demands of our players and driving innovation in the gaming industry,” said Alyssa MooYoung, chief executive officer of MGEL.

“We are dedicated to transforming the traditional ‘poker boxes’ commonly found in retail spaces by introducing a new standard of excellence with our Izizzi VLTs,” added MooYoung.

She pointed out that the Izizzi VLTs are characterised by their blue aesthetics and argued that this mark a paradigm shift in the gaming experience.

“Key improvements include state-of-the-art security features, ensuring 100 per cent cashless transactions, and minimal maintenance requirements for retailers. Moreover, the advanced capabilities of Izizzi VLTs, with add-on features and a versatile suite of games accessible on a single terminal, pave the way for continuous innovation,” declared MooYoung.

In the meantime, PB Scott, chairman of the board of MGEL, said the company is revolutionising the gaming landscape with Izizzi.

He added that MGEL plans to significantly expand Izizzi’s offerings by enhancing its lottery suite of products with additional add-on features and games.

The company aims to deploy more than 2,000 terminals islandwide by the end of 2025, marking a substantial expansion in its reach and impact.

According to MGEL, in addition to expanding into its managed retail base it will also offer Izizzi VLTs for sale to retailers interested in managing them independently, further extending its presence in the market.
