Star-studded line-up for Charly Black birthday bash
Chart-topping dancehall hit maker Charly Black is gearing up for his annual birthday shenanigans this April.
The artiste, who usually celebrates his birthday with multiple parties on the island, is switching it up and staging one grand event in Trelawny this year for his birthday.
Prior to leaving the island for Canada for his April 13 birthday event there, Charly will be hauling a star-studded line-up on his actual birthday, April 6, at Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.
“It’s a different vibe for this year’s event because I mostly do beach or river parties for my birthday. This year I wanted to make it a larger event and also add performances that Trelawny doesn’t see very often,” Charly Black explained
These artistes include Sean Paul, Kymani Marley, Chronic Law Jamiel, Roze Don, Neeqah, and more, with music from DJ Timeles, Supa Hype, Echo One Sound, Renz International, Custodians from Trinidad, DJ Sus and Sammy, and Charly’s former sound system home Bass Odyssey.
“Because the event is being held on my exact birthday, if you’re my friend or you like my music there shouldn’t be an excuse for you not to come. It’s going to be a great event,” he added.
