#Champs2024: Excelsior’s Bennett wins Class 2 boys’ 400m final

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Demarco Bennett of Excelsior High won the Class 2 boys’ 400m final in fine style at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships on Thursday.

Bennett clocked 46.91 seconds to secure the gold.

Calabar High’s Nickecoy Bramwell (47.39), who was the overwhelming favourite, had to settle for silver.

William Knibb’s Jabari Matheson took home the bronze (47.40).
