Ching Boss readies debut EP
Dancehall artiste/producer Ching Boss is in an upbeat mood as he works towards the completion of his debut EP.
The six-track project will feature collaborations with several top dancehall acts, among them Valiant, Mali Donn, and Rytikal.
“This project has been in the making for a minute now, and we’ve recorded several songs already. I still have a few more to go. When those are completed my team and I will select the ones that best represents my artistic vision to release on the EP,” said the artiste.
The Clarendon-born deejay is confident that the soon-to-be-released EP, which is titled A.R.B., will be warmly received.
“I’m always studying the music scene to get a sense of what the people want, and I believe I’ve found the right formula. Every song I’ve recorded for this project is a potential hit and I’m sure when it’s released it will become a favourite among dancehall fans worldwide,” said Ching Boss.
He is also promoting a single titled Adonis, which is one of the songs that will be featured on the EP.
Ching Boss, given name Richard Boodie, is a past student of Vere Technical High School. Shortly after leaving high school he began making beats before entering the music business as a producer and artiste in 2020.
Some of his other songs are One Prayer done with Shane O; Real Pain done with Rytikal; All Right done Mali Donn and Savage.
He has also produced songs for several popular dancehall acts, including Tommy Lee Sparta, Ryging King, Chronic Law, Jahmiel, and Mali Donn.
