Skillibeng continues upward trajectory on charts

Dancehall artiste Skillibeng continues to benefit from the upward trajectory of Tyla’s current hit single Jump, which also features American rapper Gunna.

Jump has become the second UK Singles chart entry for Skillibeng.

Over on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart, Jump is steady at #14, while on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart, it inches up from #6 to #5.

In the Netherlands, Jump débuts at #67 on the Dutch Top 100 Singles chart.

Tyla’s biggest hit to date, Water, peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently spending its 26th week at #1 on the US Afrobeats Songs chart. She copped the Grammy earlier this year for Best African Music Performance, making her the youngest artiste from Africa to have won the award.

Sean Paul’s Grammy winning Dutty Rock returns to the chart at #8, Welcome to Jamrock by Damian “Jr Gong” Marley is #9, and Kaya by Bob Marley and the Wailers is #10.

On regional reggae charts, Tun Up by Ginjah spends its third week at #1 on the South Florida Reggae chart, while Can’t Stop Me from Smiling by Nadine Sutherland bolts from #9 to #6.
