Recording artiste Rosh Reign started the year with a show of gratitude through her single Blessings.

Produced by Show Di Vybz Ent, the track was officially released on January 27.

“Blessings means protection, favour, or the declaration of such. I believe it is important to speak that into being, and to express gratitude for the blessings I have been living through. This song is my declaration of a life of blessings, filled with gratitude, where the choice is to focus on being blessed and nothing less,” she told the Jamaica Observer.

While an accompanying music video is in the pipeline, the Afrobeat-inspired track has so far been well-received by music listeners, who have expressed positive feedback.

“My hope for this song is for it to touch people’s hearts and lives, everywhere. I want it to be their go-to song, whether they’re feeling happy or sad. It’s a beautiful song that the world needs to hear,” Rosh Reign added.

Blessings follows Sticky Situation, which was released in October 2023. With other previous releases including Way Up, Lockdown With Me, Right Time, and Run Come, her journey as a musician has been a fruitful one and will continue to grow as time progresses.

“Any artiste who honours their authenticity and operates from a place of passion and service, who strives for continued growth, no matter the obstacle, tied into having a unique soul and electrifying spirit on and off stage can be seen as an exceptional artiste. I think I embody that well and I am humbled and grateful,” she said.
