Rvssian continues chart run as Santa mines gold in Spain

Producer Tarik “Rvssian” Johnston continues his hit streak as Santa, featuring Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro and Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, has been certified gold in Spain, less than a month after its release.

The certification was issued last week by Productores de Música de España (Spanish Music Producers, shortened as Promusicae) the national organisation responsible for the music charts of Spain.

In the meantime, Santa continues its upward trajectory on multiple charts. Over in the Netherlands, the song debuts at #25 on the Digital Song Sales chart, while on Billboard’s Global 200 Santa soars from #61 to #29. It has better luck on Global 200 Excluding US chart, stepping up from #36 to #14.

On Billboard’s Latin Streaming Songs chart, Santa takes a sleigh ride from #16 to #5, and #13 to #8 on Hot Latin Songs chart.

The song could make its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, as it improves from #17 to #6 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

Tyla’s Jump, which features rapper Gunna and dancehall artiste Skillibeng, continues to hold down the #3 spot on Billboard’s US Afrobeats Songs chart, while backtracking from #7 to #18 on Hot R&B Songs chart.

The song also makes moves on charts outside of the United States. In Ireland,
Jump rises from #79 to #66, while on the Dutch Top 100 it descends from #58 to #74.

YG Marley’s Praise Jah in the Moonlight shines on Billboard’s R&B charts. On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, the song improves from #41 to #36, while on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, it moves up from #28 to #24.

Onto the streaming and sales-driven Billboard Reggae albums chart, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers log 225 non-consecutive weeks at #1, while Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy inches up to #2.

World on Fire and Set in Stone by Stick Figure are #3 and #4, while Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul dips from #2 to #5.

Wisdom by Stick Figure is firm at #6, Dutty Rock by Sean Paul re-enters at #7, and UB45 by UB40 slides down to #8.

Exodus by Bob Marley and the Wailers is #9, while Welcome to Jamrock by Damian Marley is down to #10.

On regional charts, Shayne Amani’s New Dawning remains at #1 on the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart.

Favourite Girl by Hopeton Lindo takes over the #1 spot on the South Florida Reggae chart. Meanwhile, A Woman Needs Love by Leroy Sibbles bolts from #15 to #10.

Family and Friends by Richie Stephens debuts at #24 and Maybe by Kashief Lindo steps in at #25.

Praise Jah in the Moonlight by YG Marley spends a second week at #1 on the Foundation Radio Network (New York) Reggae chart while We Belong by Dollar Man moves from #4 to #2.

My Journey by Shuga slides from #8 to #5, while Believe (remix) by Kabaka Pyramid featuring Rygin King (27), Aint No Love like My Baby’s Love by Andrew Cassanova featuring Little Lenny (#28), and I Love the Way by Novel-T (#30) are new entries.
