KINGSTON, Jamaica — Known for its unfiltered exploration of topics related to sex and relationship, the live series, ‘Sex & Dancehall’ is scheduled to make its grand return inside the MECA nightclub tonight.

The series, which is hosted by Dancehall Queen Carlene Smith, is making its comeback after a brief hiatus. Boasting a brand new home inside what is arguably Kingston’s hottest nightclub/entertainment hub, the podcast is set to get underway at 10:00 pm. The first guest for this season will be Sashana Gapeteaser, a female adult entertainer, whose social media presence has gained her huge popularity on the local scene.

Set to explore topics including the quest for love as a ‘pornstar’, the inaugural episode will be an open discussion geared at a mature audience.

According to Whirlwind Entertainment’s CEO, Michael Dawson, ‘Sex & Dancehall’ allowed for open and honest discussions on issues individuals were otherwise afraid to explore. He shared that since its inception, the platform has allowed guests to engage their audience in a safe space that enhances a ‘teaching and learning’ process.

“Sex & Dancehall” is an adult podcast that allows guests to embrace their true identities unreservedly. It’s the kind of show where persons can be honest about issues many do not want to explore,” he shared. “Our host, Dancehall Queen Carlene did an excellent job from the onset. She allowed guests to share their stories and it became a show that many look forward to.”

“Our audience missed us and so we’re back at a new location, new set with new guests hoping to offer fresh insight on some taboo topics.”

Past guests on Sex & Dancehall included Shenseea , Pamputtae, Mr Lexx, Tommy Lee Sparta, Tifa and CeCile.

Admission to watch the live podcast is free. However, the discussion is paired with an after party that will attract a general admission cost of $1,500 and $2,500 for VIP. Dubbed Xin City Tuesdays, the after party will see deejay Chiney K at the consoles.
