Billed by SunTerra Energy, the new facility has as much as 90 per cent of its energy requirements powered by solar energy. A total of 288 solar panels have been installed, which have the capacity to power 25 homes.

PHARMACEUTICAL company RA Williams Distributors Ltd recently opened the doors to its new, 21,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art office and temperature-controlled storage facility located at the New Brunswick Village in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

At a special grand opening ceremony held earlier this month a number of private sector and government members were out to celebrate this milestone achievement for the more-than-10-year-old company. Among those in attendance were Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce Aubyn Hill, who delivered the keynote address; Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Grange; Opposition member and shadow minister for energy and mining Phillip Paulwell; and EU Ambassador to Jamaica Marianne Van Steen, among many other distinguished guests.
