Hit reggae song Praise Jah in the Moonlight by YG Marley continues to make moves on the Billboard R&B charts. The song had previously waged an assault on several European charts.

Last month, Praise Jah in the Moonlight was certified silver in the UK for streaming and sales equivalent exceeding 200,000 units. Last week, it was certified platinum in New Zealand, where it spent four weeks at #1 in March.

The song skips from #36 to #30 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, while cruising from #24 to #20 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.

Its multiple chart runs include spots on major tables in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada and Lithuania.

On the Billboard Hot 100 the song peaked at #34 while in the UK it topped out at #5. It made the top 10 in Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, and Portugal.

Santa by Jamaican producer Rvssian featuring Rauw Alejandro and Nigerian singer Ayra Starr continues its upward movement. On Global 200 it steps up from #29 to #24, while backtracking from #14 to #16 on Global Excluding US. It fares better on Hot Latin Songs dipping from #8 to #11, while on Latin Streaming Songs it slips from #5 to #6.

Jump by Tyla, featuring Gunna and dancehall artiste Skillibeng, remains at #3 on Billboard’s Afrobeats Songs chart. In the Netherlands, it tumbles from #74 to #93, while on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart it parachutes from #18 to #9.

Moving now to the streaming and sales-driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart, after 226 non-consecutive weeks, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers remains at #1.

Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection bolts from #5 to #2, while
Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy slides down to #3.

World on Fire, Set in Stone and Wisdom by Stick Figure are #4, #5 and #6 respectively, while UB45 by UB40 inches up to #7.

Rastaman Vibration by Bob Marley and the Wailers re-enters at #8, while
Welcome to Jamrock by Damian Marley moves up to #9.
Exodus by Bob Marley and the Wailers is #10.
