Former Tacky High School principal to return to court July 14
ST MARY, Jamaica – Former principal of the Tacky High School, Errol Bascoe, who is facing the court on buggery charges will have another month to wait before his case is mentioned again.
Bascoe, also a former People’s National Party standard- bearer for St Mary Western, appeared in the St Mary Parish Court on Tuesday. His bail was extended to July 15.
Presiding judge Nicole Kellier mentioned to his lawyer Oswest Senior Smith that she wanted to have an early hearing date set for the accused.
However, due to Senior Smith’s absence on May 14, a date was set to accommodate his attendance at the next session.
Bascoe had his $600,000 bail extended until then. His charge is related to an alleged encounter with a 23-year-old man from Gayle, St Mary who had reportedly sought the assistance of the educator in a legal matter.
