Producer Rvssian’s Santa is certified platinum in Spain
Jamaican producer Tarik ‘Rvssian’ Johnston has earned yet another platinum certification in Spain.
Last week, PROMUSICAE (Productores de Musica de Espana) which translates to Spanish Music Producers, certified Santa by Rvssian featuring Rauw Alejandro and Ayra Starr, platinum for sales exceeding 60,000 units.
This is the fifth platinum or multi-platinum certified single for Rvssian in Spain. His previous include Kippy Krush (featuring Farruko and Bad Bunny – platinum in 2017), Nostalgico (featuring Rauw Alejandro and Chris Brown – 4x platinum in 2021), B11 (with Darell and Zion and Lennox featuring Myke – 2x platinum in 2018) and Ponle (with Farruko and J Balvin – platinum in 2018).
Santa has been doing reasonably well on Billboard and overseas charts.
On Billboard’s Global 200, the song falls from 32 to 46, having peaked at #5. It found better luck on the Global Excluding US chart, stepping up from #30 to #26.
On Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, Santa comes in at #9 rising from #12, while on Latin Streaming Songs it bumps up from #10 to #6. It also debuts at #22 on Latin Rhythm Airplay.
Santa previously peaked at #1 in Spain, #50 in Italy and #15 in Argentina.
